Discrepant Records, Mission Synths, and Cone Shape Top come together with Bandcamp to present LIVE: Only Now, Las Sucias, Lagoss (Portugal), Orogen, DJ NFS & Matt. Mission Synths will have their favorite synths for demo and Cone Shape Top will be vending their excellent selections of vinyl, tapes, zines in the lounge. Live sets from all the acts from Discrepant's international catalog which includes acts like Muqatta, People Like Us, 3Phaz, Francisco Lopez, and so many more for their first touch down in West Coast soil.




Only Now: Only Now is the vision of Kush Arora, based in Berkeley, CA. His sound is an unremitting emission of razor cut rhythms, primitive channeling, and ritualistic electronics. There is wild abandon in his approach; from seething Indian tribalism to cold fronts of ambience that highlight Arora’s ability to juggle disparate sonics.

Las Sucias: Las Sucias is a duo formed by Danishta Rivero and Alexandra Buschman, mixing anti-patriarchal riotgrrrl lyrics, afro- caribbean rhythms, brujería noise and possessed vocals. Each performance is a ritual that combines all of the senses and elevates into a higher realm, inspiring the listener to dance, speak in tongues, laugh hysterically and get possessed by the spirits awoken.

LAGOSS: Experimental cyber tropical musical trio from Tenerife, headed up by Gonzo who runs Discrepant Records. There first Bay Area appearnces, they have performed at Cafe OTO(UK) and
LAGOSS first album (Imaginary Island Music Vol​.​1) was widely acclaimed as an unique oddball
album of corrupted exotica with glowing reviews and plays on international press such as BBC.

Orogen: Lucas Patzek, longtime operator does his first show in over 2 decades. Exploring how brokenness can redeem us from the incarceration of wholeness. Experimentations in rhythm, melody, sound design, and field recordings.

DJ NFS & Matt meticulously curate their Oakland store and performance/art space Cone Shape Top. Featuring the finest in gems from local and international underground culture and content, they'll be laying down cult cuts throughout the evening.
